Please join us in celebrating the 2022-2023 school year with our annual meet the family picnic & BBQ.  The picnic will take place on September 29, 2022 from 5:00-6:30 p.m. We encourage families to bring a blanket/beach throw to sit on outside, we want to enjoy our beautiful green spaces. In addition, please bring a refillable water bottle. All families who join will be entered into a wonderful family basket raffle prize. Sign up will come out soon, don't miss out on all of the fun.

Dear Parents,

A message to schedule an appointment for Student Led Conferences will be sent to your Edsby mailbox Sept. 28. Please see the following steps on how to book.  You may also contact your child's teacher or the school at 306-873-4533 to book.

• Open the message and click Book Parent-Teacher Interview.
• You will see the children the interviews apply to and the available time slots for each of your children’s teachers. If the interview period runs on more than one day, use the tabs to select between interview days.
• Edsby enables parents to choose exact time slots they want and enables parents to know in real time if the slots are available. Slots that are already booked and unavailable will be blank. Slots available will be labeled accordingly. Click on available slots to book them.
• You can also remove your booking or change it to another available time.
• When you are finished booking, click Done. You will have a summary of your interview schedule in your mailbox.
• Parents can print their interview schedules by clicking File and then Print or by typing Ctrl+P on their keyboard.
• Booking time closes on Tuesday, October 4^th at 4:00 pm and the schedule will no longer be available.

Tisdale Elementary School is so excited to be hosting an in-person Scholastic Book Fair October 3-7. Each classroom will be visiting the book fair during the week. Your child's teacher will let you know when their assigned time is.

Parents and other family members are invited to stop in and check out the Book Fair October 5 & 6 4:00-6:00 pm during Student Led Conferences!

Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Trachsel to her new position as our Administrative Assistant. 

She moved from her EA position into the front office starting today! 

This will be the lovely lady who will be greeting you when you enter and talk to when you call our school!

Student conferences will be held Wednesday, March 8th and Thursday, March 9th.  Kindergarten through grade 3 will have the option of telephone conferences from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm or in-person conferences from 5:00 - 6:30 pm.  Grades 4 and 5 conferences will be in person from 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm.  Please note - Mrs. Sklapsky's Kindergarten classes will have additional conference times throughout the day Wednesday, March 8th.   If you have any questions, please call the school, 306-873-4533.

We would like to invite anyone that may be interested in  learning more about our Pre Kindergarten program to our TES Pre K Open House  on May 29 & May 30.

Pre-K applicants and interested families with children 3-4 years of age are invited to come and visit TES pre-kindergarten classroom and staff.

It is a great opportunity for families to find out more about the pre-kindergarten program and for the staff to get to know your child better.

It has been noted that some families may not be seeing some of our posts.

Families can set up how they are receiving notifications for posts on the river of news.  They can set it so they have to go into Edsby to see them, or get an email notification or a mobile notification or any combination of these 3.  If parents/guardians have turned off the email notifications they will not get an email. 

If you are having problems please reach out to your child's teacher, they would be  happy to help you out.

Dear TES Families,

We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a Fun Field Day on Friday, June 2nd (weather permitting) for our K-5 students!  Our Fun Field Day will run from approximately 9:20 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. 

The Fun Field Day is split up into two sections for grades, K-2 and 3-5.

Students will be placed into grade-alike groups and will rotate through each station, providing tons of exciting options for the students.  Spectators are always welcome to join in the fun.  If you wish to watch, you can join us outside on the playground starting at 9:20.

Students will participate in our regular noon hour, eating from 12:21-12:41 in their rooms with their classmates and then enjoying a little bit of recess time from 12:41-1:06.  Please make sure they bring a regular lunch this day. We will continue with a few more stations after our lunch hour and then meet with the rest of the school to finish off the day with some fun races. These races will take place at 2:00 p.m.  

We ask that you ensure your child comes with proper running footwear, layers of clothing, a hat, and a water bottle. We ask that you also put sunscreen and bug spray on your child before they come to school.
